RE: A wee rant!Timmins management has always been up front that they intended to aggressively expand the company and that acquisitions were a part of that strategy. They intend to grow big, fast. That isn't accomplished by simply staying home and and minding their own business and being friendly with everybody.
Frankly, if you didn't like this strategy then what are you doing here? There's no shortage of other gold companies, some with operating mines similar to Timmins, who have different management strategies than Timmins. Surely you can find one to your liking instead of whining that Timmins should now change their stretegy to accomodate you.
