RE:RE:Serial Disappointment

RE:RE:Serial DisappointmentI've listened to everything. They have acknowledged that Q2 was a mess. The gravity concentrators are now operating and the surge bins in place. They've made it clear that this project was completed as of July 1st. I don't understand why you feel they wouldn't have 85% or better recovery for ALL of Q3? They had 84% in Q1 and in Q3 they are positioned to have better recoveries in than in Q1, are they not? Therefore recoveries should be HIGHER than 84% in Q3?

During the call they also made clear that the scavenger columns are added at the back end, will not be disruptive, can be commissioned in days and will have a MATERIAL impact on recoveries. I was disappointed to hear that they will be commissioned in Q4 instead of Q3, although that may be managing expectations.

If I'm in management's shoes I'm going to underpromise and then overdeliver. As the recoveries increase they're going to start feeding in higher and higher grades from the Doris BTD Extension. Based on the improved recoveries and higher grades, I'm betting we'll see a significant improvement in Q3 and then a blow-out Q4 to ensure they exceed guidance. I think this is a reasonably likely scenario.
