02:54 PM EDT, 10/23/2020 (MT Newswires) -- In response to a request from IIROC, Chorus Aviation Inc. (TSX: CHR) confirmed Friday that it has received a preliminary, non-binding acquisition proposal from a third party that is subject to a number of significant conditions. It said there can be no assurance that any transaction will occur, or as to the timing, structure or terms of any transaction. Chorus does not intend to make further comment unless or until there is a transaction to announce.

Chorus was last seen up 6.75% at $2.53 today, having touched a day high $2.59 and it has jumped from $2.26 at the open of trade on Thursday, October 22.
