I hate flying AC to Europe, most people in QC who choose transat likewise. I would choose AF any day, corsair even, to avoid AC. AC aren't inherting my air $$. Terrible service, pompous bored out of their minds FAs on Europe routes (highest seniority routes, thus quasi senior FAs who are tired and sometimes insulting) who don't give a sh*t, try to get service over asap and when they do it, they waste time chatting with each other about their townhouse renos rarely look at pax. They turn to you for a second like you're interrupting their aisle chat with cart mate. Others will choose BA, KLM, LH even though stopover, to avoid AC 2) European carriers much more generous when it comes to delays and problems, much higher amounts paid out.
The only thing AC has going for it is YUL and YYZ are big hubs, so if a plane doesn't work, they'll be able to find another. But the same can be said for euro carriers going the other way.
