RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Price target revised 0.58"the $18 transaction won't pass unless we are really lucky" - ok think about it this way. your friend tells you "ok i'll buy your civic for 10K in a a couple of months", then a few weeks later, a pandemic happens and stock market is down 40%, your friend is out of a job like millions of others. the civic was in demand before the crisis, but now, people are trying to keep any cash they have and dozens of civics for sale for 50% less than yours. you want to sell your car so you go see your friend and he tells you a) i need to save my money now, maybe next year; b) there's lots of civics some newer, for 4k out there or c) i'm not in the market at all, don'T really need a new car, i guess my 2019 minivan is newer, bigger and it's already paid off, plus my wife doesn't think we really need the civic unless we have another child.
Shareholders of AC would be crazy to pay even half of that $18 price right now. that's why targets are 6 - 9 bucks. Companies don't buy other companies when they're bleeding cash 99% of the time. It's more likely they'll wait a couple of years to see if buying trz still makes any sense at all.
