At today's fire-sale price situation with the Coronavirus, TRANSAT is worth a minimum of 10$ (cash) ! Guy Laliberty is working overtime this weekend to come up with an offer next week........

I agree - and my understanding is that Transat needed this new covid-context adjusted offer to obtain the loan and autonomy - allowing new offers to come in. I trust the most important part of the P.R. is: "Securing Air Canada's consent to put in place the new loan facility was critical in the decision to revisit the terms of the original agreement with Air Canada" said Jean ...more
