Almost farewell....Hi gang!
This bullboard will no longer exist when Torstar is delisted.
What a personal loss. I have grown accustomed to logging in and reading what
everyone has had to say, and adding my own comments.
Each of you has a sort of character and personality in my mind.
We have been doing this for at least five years. Five years!
It looks like extremerisk was right, if we are going to talk about right and wrong.
At least we were right (barely) in that the company did not go bankrupt. That is something.
We were right that there would be a takeout. Had I developed my Torstar shareholdings more slowly, I could have averaged the heck down. Actually, one could still average down now...I think.
The good news...some cash will be freed up which can be used in this down-phase of the market, and maybe recoup something or other.
You all have my email address. It would be great to stay in touch. Or, maybe we could meet on another bullboard, and maybe do better on another stock pick.
