RE:Maximizing Shareholder Value?Hi Media,
I can't believe that these guys sell our rights (and money by the way) so bluntly. As you said, now is the time to bring in the lawyers, because criminal behaviour is so obvious.
I'm ready to join every legal action (perhaps class action) that is still open to me as a beneficial, German shareholder. Dissent Rights on my own are no real option for me, because I can't lock the whole money up for many, many years with the result unknown and the time is running out for me to re-register my shares as a "registered" shareholder, which would be a necessity to use my Dissent Rights. Moreover, I'm no expert with respect to legal action in Canada, but out of experience here in Germany I'm very sceptical when it comes to lawyers. Most of the time you feed (as you said) the monster.
Hope there is still some room for action, even if I find no words for these hard lock-ups.
Btw: And the Oscar for the most corrupt role goes to.....Prem Watsa of Fair and Friendly Acquisitions! Congratulations!
It is a disgrace of the highest order to Warren Buffett that Watsa is still named the "Warren Buffett of Canada".
Let's hope for the best, but I must admit, I have almost resignated with these criminals. Now it is really clear that there must be informal deals in the background....
All the best,
Don
