To all Talisker retail investors - edited for thin skin.

Terry played us. But if you understand the system, this shouldn't be a suprise to you. It's certainly not surprising to me. Although, I became jaded when i realized Terry's playbook is not that different from most playbooks in the industry. I had a lot of respect for Terry years ago, but not today. Shame on me, I guess.

Terry knows his business. He knows how to find gold. He knows what it takes to get the gold out of the ground... and I am sure he is a decent human being. Outside of work, that is!

However, Terry and Talisker are part of a larger business investment model. A model that seeks out and eventually destroys the weak retail investor. Yes, take your rose-coloured glasses off, people. It is real!!!!!!

But is the destruction of the retail investor - the retail investors' own fault? Or is it a rigged game to begin with?

Smart money will tell you this is where retail investors should focus their thoughts when deciding on investing. Are the insiders honorable people, or are they quasi scam artists playing barely inside the rules?

Sure, the exploration model is risky at best. We all should know this fact before we even consider investing in exploratory gold companies. You take your chances and you can loose everything or 20X your investment... Simple risk/reward, right? This is the stockmarket after all...

And in Talisker's case, we got lucky. We put our money on the right horse. So this is good, right? Not so fast.

Today, even in the unlikely event that you bet on the right horse, the industry will do "everything they can" for you not to realize your wins. And Terry is part of the game to ensure most retailers will not be rewarded for their risky investment in Talisker - despite the fact that we will have a producing mine(s) at some point in the near future.

Terry, at this stage of the game cares very little about Talisker's stock price. Post reverse split that is.

Why do I believe this? Three reasons come to mind but I am sure there are more...

1) He allowed his insiders to sell at bottom. This was to induce retail selling. Terry could have easily told all insiders not to sell shares at this stage of the game. He didn't. He strategically did the opposite.

2) No current promotion to the retail investor. Terry is intentially keeping Talisker off the investor radar. If he had took the opposite approach, the stock would be much higher right now. Perhaps approaching a dollar.

3) Terry has not purchased a share of Talisker in ages. Why not pick up a few shares? This would show all of us retailers that our leader is on our side. Crickets from Terry. Shameful!

So the  end game of the  pilots of the  whole venture market is to crash the  plane????

Good analogy. Not exact, though. More like throwing the retail investor out the door at 20 000 feet. But you are thinking right. There is a overall plan. What I am saying is Terry has to get the stock price up now to support his long time investors. In short, this is where they totally destroy retail inestor. Watch in slow motion.

The venture market is suffering from a lack of investors , which  has been replaced  by  the majority  of daily trades  on virtually  every stock on the  venture being  done  by  AI or  botts.... Faced with the  constantly having to justify share price the  botts  move the  prices down  with constant  small  ...more

Not sure why you are posting this on TSK site. We are on the "big board" where "big boys play". We are also at basically all time highs in the gold price. So I think you are drinking the Kool aid. You can have my cup.

Metal prices means nothing to juniors, gold could be at $3000, but if you are not making money means nothing, producers decoupled from junior space long ago, I talked to Terry when sector was going down and told him to move to production, he realised that only when he saw that junior space is dead, and New Gold was not going to buy Bralorne, but if New gold bought Bralorne, now would be different ...more
