RE: ONE OPTION IS TO VACCINATEI don't think that there is any question but that the Des Moines article about the option to vaccinate is a very positive statement for Bioniche's chances with its ecoli vaccine. But obviously anything could happen to derail things at this point, especially when governments, huge pharmacutical competitors, and potential government/corporate collusion are concerned. Hard to believe, but some people really do think corporations are running the USA government and not the other way around.
One very positive development that I see from the Iowa article not yet mentioned is this: IF the distiller grain feed purchased by farmers from the etanol producers is proven beyond a doubt to increase ecoli at such an alarming rate, there will be overwhelming and powerful corporate pressure to have a vaccine as soon as possible to alleviate this ecoli problem.
Farmers would be extremely supportive of buying this cheap feed source and Corporate ethanol producers would demand that the left over grains continue to have a market or their ethanol production won't be profitable. The US government also has a dire interest with the looming energy problems to insure ethatnol remains a feasabile alternative. I think this all bodes very well indeed, especially IF bio feed is defianately proven to signifiacantly increase ecoli.
