RE: USDA & EpitopixPeachy Beechy, your at your exaggerated best. You say:
There is no question the USDA been dragging their feet when it comes to Econiche. I have heard for some time that they needed a run produced from the new facility. Which by the way, will have the capacity to produce 300m doses annually with teh next generation Econiche.
Econiche is better than Epitopix. Yes it sells for 2$ more for full course treatment. We have data from a 10 year study done on 30,000 cattle in the US. Epitopix has a 1200 cattle study. If the USDA is going to implement this at a significant cost to either the government or the consumer, they will make sure they have the best product. Econiche will win out in the end.
We have been on a perpetual gag order from the USDA since 2007. It is time we do one of two things. Either get a US partner with some lobby connections, or start to press the Canadian Minister of Trade or the Canadian ambassador to the US or the WTO with discrimination, nepotism and anti free trade talk. Send it out to the newspapeers and start a stink. Get this in the headline like the lumber companies did when they got screwed by the US.
The new plant is designed for 40M doses of econiche/year. Where do you see this as 300M doses?
Epitopix was tested on 80K cattle. Where are you getting 1200 cattle.
BNC got conditional approval from USDA contingent on: Showing they can make three consistent batches and one portion of the manufacturing process to be performed in the US. This was over three years ago, and still no approval. Either BNC are ignoring the USDA, or they are not meeting the mark of the 'Conditional Approval".
You may be correct wrt getting a US partner.
