I don't post here often either, have been holding and accumulating for about 5 years.
I think you are dead on in saying a few key strokes can create momemtum and interest in this stock. Can you imagine the interest created if the company were to announce and promote an econiche sale. Interested investors start to research this company that has a vaccine to battle ecoli. While reserching they discover the company has many irons in the fire including the big one "Urocidin" and the MCC platform.
I'm sure trading over the past week has created some interest since it has appeared on the top movers list. Who knows why this is happening, maybe tax sellers buying back in???? maybe something like you have described. One thing for sure is, it won't take much to move this stock big time.
We have seen a pretty good increase with no news and still not much volume this past week, it's encouraging.
