If you own more than 2% position in your portfolio, you deserve to live in poverty. The word for today is opportunity cost. There are only a few price points which you could have possibly bought and have a profit in this stock. I'm sure you nailed the low on this stock everytime.
However having said that. Owning a stock for multiple years with zero profit or small gain, that could yield a 100% gain can be just as foolish, for you could have bought other stocks that have produced that gain in a shorter amount of time.
Google/Apple/Chipolte/Panera/Netflix/Ford/Vivus/Denderon/ (Insert 100 more names)
I accept this stock for what it is. A 1.2% of my portfolio that is a long shot with large upside. I come on here to glean information that I don't have the time to find out from those that have been here longer than I and understand the Animal Health business.
You sound like a 50 year old gambler trying to hit it big so you can goto the local watering hole and claim your stock prowless on how its done.
