RE: more emails Not bad Fog, but you're too 'over the top' with your arguments, so anyone reading would know right away that you have an agenda.
I see PM Harper has pledged $20M to fight famine in a foreign country. So it seems this is a better place to spend our money. Good call if you have any empathy for our fellow human beings. After all, nobody has died, so far, from the e.coli disaster. However, the cost of this fiasco is well into the hundreds of $M. I wouldn't be surprised to see a $1B total cost attributed to this e.coli disaster.
You know what else seems very prevalent throughout this disaster, is that a certain level of e.coli detected in all meat products is deemed satisfactory. The number went past the USDA threshold. We need to know if this is correct, and exactly what level IS satisfactory? And how do they arrive at this criteria?
I'm with all of you whom believe we've been treated like mushrooms by our Government, and I now do not feel comfortable buying/eating beef.
