A while back....A poster on here challenged my argument by saying that you cannot stop cancer. I still disagree completely because I think you can make it insignificant enough to consider it "stopped". I agree that you cannot, and we likely SHOULD not, stop genetic mutation altogether. It's what evolution is built on. But you cannot tell me that people out there will not (eventually) create a genetic checksum which triggers the body's own immune system to attack the genetic disorders like cancer, which the body currently doesn't see as "bad", and do it immediately. I'm sorry, but I thought immunotherapy worked somewhat this way, no? It's a step towards it anyways. So all they need to do is map every single genetic disorder, create a MASTER CHECKSUM, and then most importantly of all, convince the body's immune system to adopt this as its new firmware...
