Nobody listens to Beech, the Beach Boys, or you for that matter.    I love your posts tho.   Let's me know the mentality of the people I'm playing against here.    Thanks Dimmer.

What are you talking about dude?  The Beach Boys were/are a very successful group and have been around for decades.  In fact, just in 2012 they celebrated their 50th anniversary by releasing a new album and touring, etc.   The Beach Boys never stopped performing.  Not too many people singers/groups these days last too long.  If nobody listens to them I'm pretty sure ...more

You gonna find their albums in anyone under 40s collections?   Not a chance.   You will find Floyd, Zeppelin, and the Eagles likely tho.     Anyways.    I cannot respect Kokomo.   If that's a hit, then they can keep their fan base.    It's garbage

lol, kokomo is almost 30 years old.   plus, kokomo became a hit because the mainstream wanted it to be a hit (ie. that's what people at the time were buying).    Most of Beach Boy's biggest songs came out before Kokomo in the 1960's and 1970's.   During the late 70's and early-mid 80's, they put out other stuff but they didn't become huge hits.   ...more
