Not only commodities but markets in general are manic-depressive: when a mania is on, people think the sun will never go down; when a panic starts, the night will never end. And there are always ways to construct a negative or a positive scenario. I have a designated "speculative portion" in my portofolio and today I started putting some cash there to work. Many quality juniors are trading at a fraction of their book value and the world will still need zinc, copper, oil, etc. But I'm certainly not advising anyone to buy/hold/sell any particular stock, just suggesting that keeping in mind a bit of history and a perspective might not be a bad idea. I don't visit these boards much, just a slow day for me. It's time for a beer so good luck to all longs and don't speculate with what you can't afford to lose. Cheers :)
