RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Can anyone else hear Petz, I completely agree that the U.S. needs to produce more of everything it consumes, including raw materials. This is why it is so important that the U.S. produce much of its own oil. Thank goodness the fracking technology has made that possible.
However, most raw materials are traded in a global free market, so the supply is pretty much endless for anyone who is willing to pay the right price. The most important thing is to not be too dependent on one country, especially a country that may not always be "friendly".
