RE:RE:Stinky earnings

RE:RE:Stinky earnings
Zinc was $1.19 in Q4, and Trevali still lost -$8.1M.

What the heck does it take for this company to become profitable?  People keep talking about the wonderful cost reduction that Ricus has done, but he cannot even turn a profit when zinc is averaging $1.19.

The company produced 74.2M pounds of zinc in Q4, so they lost $.11 per pound.  They would have needed the price of zinc to average $1.30 just to break even, and that is ignoring the extra losses on the hedges that a higher price of zinc would cause.

A breakeven cost of $1.30 is completely unacceptable.  I am very disappointed by this disgraceful performance.

LuvtoInvest, this was my warning to MoneyMan on 2/17/21: " As for additional zinc sales in Q4, it could happen, or the zinc delivery schedule could be the same as in Q3.  There is no way to know if excess zinc was sold in Q4."
