Insurance, Dewatering.......
Insurance....I am very confident they have none for Perkoa. I say this for two reasons.
1. They would have mentioned it already,....... they have not.
2. For a company desperatly trying to reduce ASIC...or at least hold it as low as possible....one can imagine they trusted the berms and systems in place to handle flood risk. Also who is going to insure a mine that is almost out of easily minable ore?
So we may as well not bother wishing for some surprise insurance announcement.
Dewatering....They are moving as fast as is possible to get the water out of that mine.
Perkoa even thou it only has a years worth of life left in it.....is absolutley essential moving forward.
Trevali can weather 2 horrible quarters with financial help......To get Perkoa running again.
But it cannot move forward without Perkoa.
So now it is a race to get Perkoa dewatered, repaired and running before the financial reprecussions destroy them.
When the welded dewatering pipe gets finished and pumping....we should get news shortly after concerning how long dewatering will take.
