RE:RE:Q1 numbers from the quarterly report

RE:RE:Q1 numbers from the quarterly reportkram, it is definitely all about the breakeven.  AISC is meaningless as far as I am concerned.  I want to know when a company will make PROFIT!  The numbers here are pretty cut and dry.  People try to make things overly complex for no reason.

In my recalculated treatment cost number, there could be a savings of $.12 per pound.  Closing Caribou should actually save closer to $.10 per pound based on the quarterly report.  So if you take the Q1 breakeven of $1.22 - $.12 - $.10 = $1.00.

So this company could reach breakeven at exactly $1.00 zinc.  At $.90 zinc, they are losing about $.10 per pound x 84M pounds = $8.4M per quarter or $34M per year.

All that matters now is the terms of the recapitalization and whether the price of zinc can climb above $1.00.
