TIcker, if mining costs go up due to general inflation, then commodity prices are likely to increase by a similar amount. Inflation on the whole is good for miners, because you invest at today's prices but generate revenue on future prices (recognizing that both commodity prices and costs do go up and down of course).
For mines in developing countries, local costs like salaries may even go down as local currencies most often fade over time vs US and CAN dollar.
