ResponseThanks retiredcf - what did Nuttall say when you spoke with him after the MoneyShow.

Was it TVE specific or O&G general?
-----------------------------------------------------------------

We didn't talk about any companies but instead I mentioned the 3 headwinds facing oil prices - the impact of a recession, the slowdown in China and the strong US dollar.  He is looking longer term and was not too concerned (at least in regard to the energy sector). Even with these headwinds, energy companies are making money hand over fist and most are now rewarding shareholders rather than putting the money back into production.  Thus production shortfalls will remain and result in insufficient supply to meet world demand.

He currently owns 14 companies (including obviously TVE) and meets with each of their BODs to hammer away at rewarding long suffering shareholders. So the next year should feature lots of share buybacks and rising dividends. GLTA
