Pullback?

Genuine question (I'm new-ish around here):
Seeing the big gains TVE has made in the last week, and everything that has been said on the board and elsewhere: Nuttall and his positive mid-long term outlook on this stock (which seem trustworthy, imo), will there be a pullback soon before more gains?

When there was a jump in early Dec of about 33% ($0.93 on Dec. 1 -> $1.41 on Dec. 11), the price pulled back slightly into end of the month and then was relatively steady through end of Dec and Jan (minor fluctuations, though).

Here we are again, with a larger jump of ~60% from beginning of the month to now. I suspect that the peak at $2.15 yesterday is about as far as it will go for now, and I wonder if $2.00 will now become a new resistance level for next while until things begin to move again. Or should we expect things to settle around $1.90-ish? The pull back after Dec. 11 was about 9-10% over the following 11 days.

Or will there be no pullback and everything will keep going up?

Just looking for some thoughts on this.

Even if anybody really knew, they'd be long gone from websites like these with their billions of dollars.

As long as oil is in the $60 range and WCS in the $48 range all will hold aand probably grow. Our winter is bad so nat gas is up as well. IMO, TVE won't move past $2.25 but may slip back to $1.80. It's had its pop for now. If oil dives so will TVE. You must remember that Nutall has influence on our oil stocks. The moment he mentioned it as his top pick it jumped 10% My top pick would be ...more

Or just buy both. The small and small to medium cap. Multiples are much better here when oil gets back to $75. Buy and come back in 6months.

this is a small company 500M CAD mkt cap today! so the Nutall efect + weather = +35% in a week. I was hoping for a pullback and bought some today at 2.16. it'll be 75F in texas in a week and i'll probably regret but can average down. I think Nutall is a straight shooter, he's been "wrong" many times as far as timing, but not really hos fault, he can't control the price of ...more

It should trade higher, they are in one of the hottest plays around in Clearwater.
