RE: Bakken "napkin math"With the "earn in" Bakken acreage included, they are close to a net of 188 "sections", with estimated OIP of 4.5 million barrels per section. If they can recover about 40% of OIP (assuming the estimate is accurate), at your $12.50 number, we're at about $42/share. At present, Petrobank's estimate is one well per 160 acres, but one well per 80 acres, wouldn't surprise me. Is 40% recovery too high ? Probably, but that Dec. '06 well they referenced, that hit its' predicted 2010 net production (3.5 years) in just 7.5 months, has me wondering. IMO, Bakken is still being greatly underestimated. No matter how you run the numbers, PBG is still dirt cheap.
