SelloffMuch going on here, would agree that a good bit of today's selling involves institutions selling their more liquid winners (PBG has loads of eager buyers), and, to some extent, the Canadian selloff is related to the Yen carry trade. Don't think the BOJ will allow the Yen to stay at its' elevated levels, for very long. Most of the major houses stateside (SSB, CS, Schwab)seem to think most stocks are greatly oversold, although that doesn't mean the bottom is in. Panic, engendered by media outlets, is what I see.
