RE: Hurricane Dean Is a Level 4 HurricaneDean's current path is just to the north of Cantarell. If the projected path deviates south it is in big trouble. The storm is forecast to pick up to strength 5 however the Yucatan peninsula will sap much of its energy so i suspect it will be about strength 3 by the time it passes back over the gulf and picks up again. Question now is how much damage will a direct hit by a strength 3 hurricane cause? I hope the track does deviate southwards because the last thing Jamaica needs is a direct hit with force 5 hurricane. Good luck and keep your heads down mon.
