Get with the program greens.Finally someone has stepped up to the plate. Thanks Mr Henuset for having the balls and vision to do what is best for the Alberta economy and environment. It sickens me to read the pathetic attempts of the so called environmentalists trying to raise the spectre of the nuclear boogeyman. Get a grip. The ACR is not your father's nuclear station. Nuclear waste can be safely stored in deep geological repositories and can be reused once fast breeder reactors become mainstream. Two twin ACR units pumping 4400MW of cheap, reliable and clean energy will do wonders for the Peace River region. Kudos to the mayor of Peace River to see past the end of his nose and start planning for the days when natural gas will be far too expensive to burn for electricity. I would much rather have an ACR reactor next door to me than a coal burning power plant. Wake up greenpeace and sierra club before its too late.
