RE:RE:RE:URAAll of this talk of the URA - selling etc. So I dig a little bit. This fund has only been around since November 4, 2010 - 4 months pre Fukushima. No Global X Manager has been around before 2014. Of the 4 stated, a Mr. Chang Kim has been around since 2014. The rest since 2016 and 2018. Mere pups.
They have never seen or been involved in a Uranium run. I assume they have read about the history though, but did they learn anything !!
What did this Global X fund pay for UEX and their accumulated 31,000,000 + shares ? In November of 2010, UEX was going for $ 2.10 per share..........
Right now they are sitting on about $ 6.1 Million dollars of UEX shares. A loss but how big - could be real big ! Tax write off vs the loss ??
Will Barrick Gold see $ 55 per share in the next 5 years out to August of 2023 ? Not a chance and that is a 5 X .
For that matter, Cameco at $ 55 per in the next 5 years. Doubt it maybe low $ 20's in 3 years.
Will UEX see $ 1.00 per share in the next 5 years ? I believe this is a certainty and probably much much higher. So 30,000,000 shares are then worth over $ 30 Mil. Plus for sure they will have X number of CoEX shares. Maybe a 1 to 1 - maybe a 1 to 10 - who knows. But they would own at least 3,000,000 CoEX shares - at what value who knows. But I do know that Cobalt metal prices in 5 years will be heating up a lot as EV's will really be taking hold and NO new battery technology will be replacing Cobalt in 5 years - yes maybe in 8-10. So the UEX WB property will be valuable...... And CoEX shares will have risen by possibly a lot.
In summary, the guys at this ETF are nuts selling UEX shares " to REEEBALANCE" the fund ! It is hard to watch but as Uranium and Nuclear Power are mentioned more and more in the news, the herd will come and will not have that many companies to invest in.
UEX at a $ 1.00 per share means only about $ 38 Million dollars can be invested in the company without going over the 10 % ownership position and all that comes with that. $ 2.00 per share is only $ 76 Million - not much and just a drop and peanuts in the investment world.
I do not need to be woken up at $ 1.00 because I can already see it. 3 weeks til fall........
