United States Nuclear Power & Uranium Update

United States Nuclear Power & Uranium UpdateSo let me get this straight.

Gold - $ 1900/oz    Pretty but what else
Silver - $ 26/oz      Pretty and yes some industrial uses
Uranium - $ 2/oz  or about $ 32/lb and nobody makes any real profit at this level.  U is kind of important - really is to keep the lights on.

United States produced basically zero LBS of Uranium in 2020

US Electricity output  is 0.00413 Quadrillion kWh in 2020

United States Nuclear Reactors produced about 825 Billion kWh of electricity in 2020 or about 20 % of all US electricity.

US @ Zero U production of a very vital resource to keep the lights on.

1 LB of Natural Uranium  =  20,000 kWh of Electricty
1 LB of Natural Uranium = 16,000 LBS of Coal
1 LB of Natural Uranium = 12,000 LBS  of oil

And they are worried about $ 2/oz to keep the grid going - something is wrong with this picture very wrong.

Uranium at $ 5/oz is $ 80/LB -  still nothing to keep the grid going. What is going on here Utilities ??

A million LBS of U at a pretty big plant and $ 80/LB is $ 80,000,000/YR NOTHING
looking at the big cost picture.  And the sun does not shine everyday.

World with Nuclear is going in the right direction - even Canada with Darlington expansion etc. but the US is kind of cooocooo right now.

Just sign the U LT's at around $ 78.86/LB for 5 -7 years and get this show on the road.
