RE:RE:Double Barrel

RE:RE:Double BarrelHey, Good points, thanks for posting.

1) On the delay of 2nd gen, see the analyst notes that were released after Q3, (Cormark, Canacord)

2) FOC/IOC:  Maybe the language is less relevant than the schedule, but Deimos 2 took about 5 months from launch to FOC/IOC.  HRC is now 13 months and counting from launch of the repair cables.

3) CEO departure;  I just haven't seen that many examples of CEOs willingly leaving right before their hard fought business explodes (in a good way).  It makes my spidey sense tingle.

4) Posting pictures:  Normally (and previously) I'd agree with you that this is no big deal.  But then I thought, for a company that has publicly stated that it is democratizing earth observation imagery, why go quiet right when your cameras are humming?  Skelter's is the best answer I've seen, which is "maybe they're just busy and didn't consider the impact this would have on perceptions?"

But how many times are we going to give them a pass on being bad at handling the markets?

Do we really think that all of management, their board and the all star team of advisors don't care and have somehow missed the social media dissemination aspect of their business?  That a complete lack of tweets, blog posts or other evidence of their super cameras wasn't deliberate?  Right when everyone is psyched to see the fruits of this mystery HRC camera they turn off the taps?  I still can't get my head around this.

every credible answer boils down to either technical malfunction of HRC, or 'hall of fame' level neglect, both of which make my head really, really hurt.
