RE:RE:RE:If Line 5 is shutdown,...I do not believe that Line 5 is going to shut down but if it did,  VET's operations are globally diverse.  The operations they do have in Canada produce light crude and condensate.  Line 5  transports diluted bituman so the light crude would be shipped another way.  The condensate is used to dilute the bitumen but is highy sought after and would probably remain in demand for other lines and uses even if Line 5 were to stop shipping.  
Aside from sympathy pains from being in the same industry Line 5's closing would have a minimal affect on Vet's share price IMO.

I have heard that Gretchen just wants money, kind of like those Russia hackers / blackmailers.

I am not certain that the TMPL will ever get built. I tend to think that Trudeau bought it and gave the project to civil servants to ensure that it never is completed. What's 10 billion dollars to Trudeau to bury an issue for a few terms and keep certain MP's. But, I hope I'm wrong.
