Long time waiting

I have owned VET since the Spartan takeover in 2018 where I got 147 shares for my 1000. Decided to average down in the high 8's and 9. Now at 14.33 and loving the run. Hope it keeps going.

You obviousy possess the one attribute to sound investing that so many lack. Patience. GLT you and to all here.

Other than the exception of VET (which I wish I funds to buy more of last year) I have 10 & 11 years of patience on a few stocks and it has done me no good at all so far. Can you give me a good definition of patience measured in years. Many times it's the lucky bounce that counts a lot more than patience - just like in golf.

Would Manulife be one of those stocks? Other than the quarterly dividend, that's 1 stock that has done nothing in 15 years at the very least.
