Being Earth Day who wouldn't have believed "Greta's Back". Being another year older and wiser she is sounding off again based on her 19 - 20 years of life experience. I did not bother to listen to what she has to say this time around but one commentator/physician said that as with many Gen Z's she is suffering from "Eco-Anxiety" which is not unlike PTSD.
Also being Earth Day our friend Grandpa Joe Biden has stated the U.S. will now cut their greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by the year 2030. Not to be outdone Mr. Trudeau has said Canada will cut their emissions by 40% by 2030.
Does that mean with us being at 1.6% of the worlds emissions at present that we will drop down to 1% by 2030? And at what costs in dollars and lifestyles? While we move down that 0.6% what will happen to the Chinese and their 28%, the U.S. at 15% and India at 7%? And what will be the relevance of all these numbers when we are in 2030 (without me quite likely). Figures don't lie but liars sure figure. The whole carbon thing is a scam -- just keep everyone in a circle of fear - climate wasn't enough so the covid got added. Now Ocasio Cortez is saying that climate change is the cause of racism - or was she saying racism is the cause of climate change? I listened to it and am still not sure which way she had it. But it just adds to the whole diatribe one way or another.
They call it Gen Z I call it Gen Stupidity. Z does stand for zero after all.
