Interesting read...

Hey gang... With all the talk about fossil fuel eventually becoming a thing of the past, renewables taking over etc etc. I found this interesting article. But first I will say this. My residence is in Metro Vancouver, BC and this city is a major support of the green enviroment climate push. Part of the liberal agenda. Anyway, going forward, new homes apparently are being built without Natural gas but instead going the all electricity route. Very expensive imo. Anyway, I google it and yes, it is becoming true....then found this article. Yes ...  I too have heard about Vancouver mandating all new electric only buildings.  In my conversation with someone in the industry, I mentioned how that would dramatically raise heating costs and their reply was a rather nonchalant YES, it would. It will take many years to create a critical mass of all electric buildings, but that is where it's going. This electrification creates ...more

China has developed a 2 prong method of reducing the enormous amount of coal thay burn .The first is increased imports of LNG and the second is huge wind farms. To accommodate the wind farms they are building a massive ultra high voltage ekectrical grid around the entire country. They seem to know what they are doing . Do we?
