I don't understand.  Someone is lying. VET has 162 million shares outstanding for years now and it still has 162 millions shares outstanding.  Why the Lies.???

probably just buying back shares from their exec compensation, i.e  only shareholders they are returining captial to is their execs.

is it possible that you mistook the figure reported? 72 million shares would have represented over 40% of their outstanding share float. It is more likely that they repurchased $72 million dollars in shares. GLTA

WOW thanks for that clarification!!! Most if not all companies pay their executives in stock options as well wages. We all know that ?? Vermilion's balance sheet looks pretty good, I would personally prefer higher dividends and give the share buyback program up. The float is low enough? maybe they can work through this windfall tax situation so we can apply it to the debt as well dividends ...more
