So those ethnic Russians were Ukrainians. So your assertion that if they didn't like the fact that the US coup in Kiev in 2014 removed the government that all of Ukraine had voted for, they should return to Russia, is the equivalent of if when the Democrats stole the 2020 election then those who didnt agree with that should move back to where their ancestors came to America from, hundreds of years ago...see what's wrong with your analysis yet? 2014 US backed coup was the start of the Ukraine civil war.... astonishing that almost no North Americans even know it had been going on for 8 years before 2022. US backed Ukrainian army bombarded cities of Eastern Ukraine for 8 years, killing thousands, mostly civilians, the Kiev puppet government run by mostly Banderites...followers of the Nazi collaborator Stephen Banderos, Ukraine wartime leader who butchered 200,000 ethnic Poles among others, brought in laws that tried to ethnicly cleanse eastern Ukraine, just as one of many examples by banning the use of the Russian language. If you don't know of the extreme right philosophy in Ukraine...then you know nothing of Ukraine. You remind me of that recent occasion in the Canadian parliament where literally an ex Ukrainian SS soldier from WW2 was given a standing ovation... because he fought against the Russians in WW2...the morons there not realizing they were applauding a a proud real life Nazi...until it was pointed out to them by those who were far more educated. North Americans on the whole know little of the world, have a very simplistic unsophisticated view of the world where they are the goodies, everyone not agreeing with them baddies, hence the catalogue of US military disasters around the world, from Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, now Ukraine....all aided by complient media, remember how you all believed how Iraq had weapons of mass destruction which justified the invasion? All spun by the West and it's media, which amazingly most Americans still listen to and believe. This time though they thought they would repeat the same old same old against Russia, big mistake, and now the US is in full panic mode knowing that they have lost and caused the deaths of 500,000 young Ukrainians in the meantime. A peace deal was on the table in February 22, the US scuppered it. Same attitude as Madeleine Albright who disgustingly said before the Iraq invasion that the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children through US sanctions was a price worth paying, this is why US governments are hated the world over, not the US people, but the constantly interfering US government.
