VGCX - Perception vs. Facts

VGCX - Perception vs. FactsI see EricSnott and Singoa58 have been hard at it yet all day today pretending they know way more than the rest of us about the huge / massive environmental damage, the huge / massive costs to clean it all up, just how long this will all take, and the ultimate ending fate of Victoria Gold as bankrupt.  Using the SSR Mining Turkey slide that killed 9 people as a comparison ramping up the doom and gloom story in hopes of cashing in some more on Tuesday when Victoria shares resume trading.  EricSnott last week announced VGCX shares are going to .50 cents but now that he knows so much more today the shares are now going to to .15 cents, then .05 cents and then .005 cents!  You go EricSnott, might as wll throw in that their going tp .004 cents, then .003, cents now.    Sell, Sell, Sell says Eric the shorter, sell quick I say because I EricSnott am here to save you all and well if I can spook more of you longs I can make even more money using scare tactics well, goody for me!  Yee, Yee!

Now for the reality, there is simply not enough FACTUAL informationat this time for anyone to know for certain where this will end up.  The extent of the environmental damage will be a key factor as to where this all goes from here and it's important to recognize that just because there was a massive landslide doesn't necessarily mean there was massive environmental damage.  The test results from the slide samples expected Tuesday are very important but you can be sure that even if they indicate cyanide contamination is low or non-existent, it won't matter because the environmentalist and First Nations will just say the government is covering this all up and more samples and testing are required!  They've already planted the seed that the don't trust the Yukon authorities so we'd have to be pretty naive to think the doom and gloom scenarios won't persist beyond Tuesday and EricSnott and Singola

In the meantime, the jawboning going on here is nothing more than speculation.  This reminds me of when you are driving past a major vehicle collission scene and you see one car torn in half and the other badly damaged.  Police, Fire and Ambulances all on scene, lights flashing and the first thing that comes ot mind is I wonder how many people are dead?  With a car all torn apart and car parts strewn a quarter mile down the road someone must be dead!  How could anyone possibly survive that wreck?  You get home you tell your neighbour and your spouse.  Later you turn on the evening news and the videos are rolling, man that is ugly.  Then despite the gloom and doom PERCEPTION, the news reporter announces that one man miracuously only sufferred a broken leg and the passengers in the second vehicle were transported to hospital, treated for minor injuries and released.  And you're saying to yourslef how is this even possible, I was sure someone was dead, how could anyone survive such a 'Catastrophe' (oh look there's that word that's being thrown around because of a massive slide at Eagle where no one was even killed and the few injuries reported were apparently minor).

My point is simply that PERCEPTION is not REALITY until the FACTS tell the REAL story.  To this point posters (and no doubt many Victoria shareholders that don't even follow these boards but have watched the news depicting this reportedly  'Catastrophic' event) have merely just driven past the worse case sceanrio collision scene still hyped up about what the saw and their perception is a worse case scenario.  Make no mistake, EricSnott and Singoa58 are not going to give it a rest with their doomsday narrative anytine soon.  They don't know anymore than the rest of us but are working real hard (overtime in fact) to convince the spooked longs that their perception is reality.

Personally, I'll wait for the facts and be guided by facts because at the end of the day that's all that's going to matter.  And one fact that's worth noting is that Victoria Gold has a $104 million bond that will no doubt be tapped if the environmental damage warrants it.  An amount that was determined and established by the Yukon Mining Authorities themselves as adequate to cover this type of event (if in FACT this is the environmental 'Catastrophe' some here perceive it to be).  I'm not yet convinced this is the environmental catastrope some believe it is but as the old saying goes, perception is reality (of course until it isn't) and so in for now, to each their own!

My opinion only, please DYODD.
