Victoria Gold - Banyan gold

With Banyan gold right next door and The CEO Tara Christie's drill program proving up a heaftie resource one would think of a possible merger/takeover.
near future any thoughts??
fast:)

NO one will buy Banyan until they start the mine or at least get the full permit and logistical and financial planning done.  It is worthless other than spec until they pour gold.  Just like the Nevada property.  Until it is in motion....it is all just a dream.  Sometimes dreams turn into nightmares.  Bird in hand is worth 10 in the bush.  Just push for dividends and ...more

Wasn't there a ride at the carnivals called the Gyrotron?  THey always put those types next to the grease pit to test your stomach!  I think I jinxed it as volume is picking up in the wrong direction.  Should be dull tomorrow with Monday holiday.  Tuesday surprise I hope.....VGCX is pleased to announce the September numbers for the eagle.........

Actually i have done extremely well with VGCX. Sold at $21.00. went all in on Banyan and I completely disagree with the statement of worthless. The CEO of Banyan has stated that they are in the process of proving up 3 million ounces with the possibility of 5 million. Metal in the ground is certainly not worthless. As far as building the mine, that is one possibility - however with  Victoria ...more

All Gold plays are 'Worthless' until they start the mine.  Up until then they are 'Speculative Investments'  Many go into so much debt building the mine the majors swoop in and scoop them on the cheap.  It takes time and money to build a mine.  Meanwhile investors play the swings and try to make money.  Bagholders sit and hold.  Sometimes you can hit ...more

Kegman, I agree with your assessment but John is not a finance guy. His CFO should be fired because of incompetence. The BODs should be fired. You can pay a healthy dividend and still pay down debt and reinvest in capex for the mine. Newmont does this day in and day out. John has made a comment that his father told him to be never in debt. That is good personal advice but a sophisticated CFO can ...more

There are always different possibilities. No one knows the outcome for vgcx let alone Byn. For now I'd certainly be  looking at Byn doubling between now and spring sometime after the proven resource PR. Where it goes from there over the balance of 2022 is an even bigger guess that might be somewhat intertwined with vgcx's fate. I think we'll have a clearer picture by December 1st  ...more

Using Victoria as the example Zeke, how long from a resource that shows a mine is worthwhile to actually having a working mine?  That is assuming no hiccups.  In the meantime, how many ventures could you invest in to make money while that occurs?  Oil is on fire, new age tech is bubbling and the Cdn banks seem still undervalued.  Once the cannibis sector flattens out, and god ...more

Why would you assume because I post positively about this particular stock I'm in love with it...or that I don't have millions in other stocks? Too many times with much too much assuming done by multiple posters here. I originally bought Victoria at .17 so that's not a bad start , and have bought and sold it over the years at different %ages of my initial investment. I currently have ...more

No offence meant Zeke.  It sometimes seems here that supporters of VGCX treat it like family rather than an investment.  Good to have open dialogue.  Nothing personal.  Holding a stock over a year is against my mantra now unless it pays dividends.  I think VGCX is ready for that now and we should be asking for it.  I would hold then.  For what it is worth, GLTA.& ...more

I appreciate the reminders not to fall in love, and at the same time think the victoria / banyan framework somewhat unique compared to the usual risks and timeline to production for a junior like byn, which is why i love them so much LOL - Next door Victoria and Alexco operations assistance - Drilling on a shoestring budget off the main highway, powerline - Steady stream of positive drill ...more

Respectfully disagree FTCO is a producing mine with an AISC of 628. It does not get better then that. vgcx's is at 1200! There will never be dividends because in the latest SEDI from BYN. John purchased 1.22 million shares, vgcx purchased 10 million shares. John has 3.1 million share, wife has 6.1. John is going to finance BYN's mine free of charge. This is a complete sham.
