There's 2 months and 4 days until they expect this deal to close ... you want a white knight? I'll throw one name out there ....The one , the only, Mr Pat Carlson.... i hope hes watching what has happened to his beloved company and pulls financing and swoops in and delivers us from evil.... I bet anything he never ever expected a bullspit takeover of this magnificent company... on the ...more

im not gonna rule it out ....but it could happen.... another thing is that vii is trading in a way that tells me that people dont want this merger at all...people realzie this company is better off without arc ... regardless of what happens i see this at 12+$ before its a done deal or a better offer comes are way

Hi Regardless, Why do you think that "the way VII is trading tells me that people don't want this merger at all"? At the time of writing this comment these are the prices ARX: 8.22 VII: 8.97 Based on the merger agreement: "Seven Generations shareholders will receive 1.108 common shares of ARC for each common share of Seven Generations held" VII shares should trade at ...more

when the chevron apache deal fell through nobody expeted oxy to come in the way they did...so for one with this deal just having been announcd late last week, there hasnt been much time yet  secondly as a standalone with 60-65$ wti ..youd be getting a vii stock easily in the 16-18$ range as they can pay don debt easily with 1.2-1.5 billion in fcf.... its too bad that the deal is getting ...more

No, that doesn't convince me. I still argue: If "the market" was convinced that this is such a bad deal and another offer will be raised by another party, the price would be much higher than now. I'm not saying that there will not be another offer, but I think it is likely that it goes through. And I think there are much worse options than the current offer. As mentioned ...more

Aldan007 i like this back and fourth so lets keep it going... so here goes...vii wasand is a premier cream of the crop idea, buisiness model, cash cow... thiey are like the equivalent of a chevron here in canada...or were...and can return to that glory nd value if they had a bit more time... this is like chevron getting bought by say, an exxon...arc is lower valued for a reason and its the ...more

Give it up, if you want what VII could have become before this nightmare, just sell out and buy POU. Even before this deal POU was better than VII.
Comment by regardless on Feb 16, 2021 5:28pm
Sugaree your a little puke .. you bought pou at 5.25 I believe you posted and are now a pumper ... get off the vii board if you don't own shares ... ps I'm in at pou much cheaper than you are ... so... good luck to us both

Yes, I am in at $5.31 Jan 4&5. I swapped out of another play, and turns out it was a great move by about 35% to date. A double plus more in 6 weeks. Why am I a little puke. I am allowed on this board as much as anybody. I dont see you calling honeypot a little puke, and what I have said here doesn't come close to his justifiable trashing of VII. If want to make the kind of money you had ...more

Let me add a few things: There are so many companies in the oil and gas space that are not valued in the way they should - this includes both ARX and VII. But the sad story is: Just because you and I think VII is much more worth than the current stock price, it doesn't matter as long as industry sentiment is not in favor of this sector and "the market" is not willing to invest more. ...more
