BG should be getting a bid for its block by known activist

Once that block clears this stock will easily double , question is will the activist insist on cash back to shareholders or back an accretive Mand A strategy in the area of interest.  I woud prefer the Mand A strategy , too many stranded assets that need to be consolidated VLE could easily aggregate another 50k boed.

Activists don't target pip squeak companies like VLE unless they are Canadian govt funded barrel scraper. Serious ones target market cap $100B+.  BG is a long term holder and they probably view the Thai assets for what they are.....closing in on and of life though they ate probably underestimating the role of tech in prospering from legacy fields....TCF is a perfect example off shire
