With the company sitting with lots of cash, a share buy back program would  be nice to have had for times like this.

VLE will need ‘all that cash’ ....or some of it to restore production by fixing this ‘crack’; it is nice to have cash on hand so you can deal with things like that. Perhaps this is also the opportunity to upsize Wassana (MOPU) in anticipation of scheduled increase in production. G37

Sounds like, select group of large investors and stakeholders were provided head's up of news therefore all the recent fall from $5.6x and all options that were exercised with strategic timing. VLE management has yet again lost trust of shareholders but they don't care and they never cared when the stock was at $0.39

Ahhh, not sure your point? Honestly don't think McFarland, who cashed some of his cheap options in from years ago, knew about any issues at the Wassana field. If indeed insiders were acting on that information, there would have been a huge run to sell by most of them. And, "they never cared when the stock was at $0.39"??? Why did they have to, as they've taken the stock up well ...more

Good points... Overall we've had huge success the last 18 months... I don't get many 10x stocks.    This work has huge risks and we just got hit with one... But that's why there's also huge rewards.  It's unfortunate but the reason I slowly sell some on the way up too early.  Looks like more patience will be needed but price targets are still 9 to 12 bucks ...more

They have always had serious integrity and compliance problems not to mention insider trading red flags.  This is the Canadian norm that is unpunished. That's why the defacro board resides in low tax Singapore on platinum expat packages while remaining listed in Canada with resident proxy directors. Canada does nothing with white collar criminals.  Singapore would incarcerate ...more
