material supply deals with First Solar would last through early 2021, expext an another long term contract. remember that in 2010 First Solar wanted to acquire 5n to secure its supply.

Nice call , just announced First Solar contract. it's highly possible the renegotiation is priced in ; the contract ending without being renewed would have material.

Can someone tell me why 5N Plus dropped after a great quarter (and a couple  before this one) and a nice long term contract with solar?  This company continues to do good things but why does the stock remain like this?

You have been paying attention. I think the renewal of the contract, while positive ,does not bring any excitement because Solar is not a new customer. Maintaining the current relationshipl like no big whoo! As far as the company not being rewarded by a higher stock price after decent results  , the company has under performed for a long time due to much of their sales being commodities like
