I do think this is some kind of ploy to make it look like something but output is something else. I think OPEC+ wants $80-$85 for at least the summer, then bring it back to the mid seventies. Kinda like a tease for shale to test the waters and see when they wanna bite.
You can trust no one in this game OPEC or N-OPEC, but remember one thing. These folks do talk in the background all the time and when they meet it is just for show. Riyadh is a funny place with some funny hotels with some funny stuff going on.
