Red_DeerA very controversial question but l am prepared to answer as l never dodge the hard ones.I was of two minds about the Pearson government , the introduction of CPP and a Medical plan were both very good initiatives and progressive compared to the USA .On the other hand at eleven and a half years old l was not a supporter of the new Canadian Flag and never have been. You will notice that both Australia and New Zealand have maintained the Union Jack on their flag and even Hawaii an American state sports the Union Jack on its State Flag, second Pearson was the Pm that foisted PET on us , a notorious Anglo hater. I am and will always be proud of my Anglo Heritage and the contributions Great Britain made to civilizing the World.True , at one point the sun never set on the Empire , no other country ever can claim that distinction
