WTI has been down for 3 days in a row.  Most oil stocks are down.  CPG seems to be a more volatile than some others.  But, I don't think a few bad trading days are going shake out most of the investors.  We've seen lots of them.  If you are bullish on oil at all, CPG is a good place for your cash.  If you are bearish, sell and put your money into something ...more

New to the board but I've been in CPG at some way for 9 years.  I've watched my value plummet and I remember when the div was pulled.  I'm averaged way down and this is a very optomistic time for me.  You don't want my advice, don't take it.  What I won't do is waste everyone's time bantering back and forth on my identity.  I'm not whomever ...more

I agree Liquid.. you have every right to post here.. like you said.. if you don't like the way management is operating, then move on.. no one cares about the daily whining that a couple posters constantly blab.. I'm sure some longs are still under water.. but only a couple whine daily about it.. but come a time to table their concerns on a CC its crickets.. LOL.. I bought CPG originally ...more

I've been taking the heat for seven years (lol).  Going to hold strong for the next few anyway when I think we will see how lack of investment in oil for 7 years will impact supply/demand.  The future supply/demand situation should also reveal the true value of oil, and the inability of alternative energy source to replace it.

CPG management have an attitude of thinking they are better then most. The way management throws around money either by naming rights or donations to different causes meanwhile drowning in debt amazes me. In Weyburn SK I have seen them build a new office only to let it sit empty and the office they are in is top notch. Drive in small town SK and you will see the structures these clowns build. CPG ...more

================= Liguid... I have some freinds that still own this dog at $30 a share ... so its not the daily price fluctuations one is complaining about... its the yearly ones...  so long time holders have every right to complain they have seen a div disappear and the insiders grant themselves a whack of shares when they said they would do the buy back when they cut the div... they did not ...more

Ok.  I take this as a good feedback on what I said.  I'm going to avoid direct criticism in the future.  So, I'll just say thank you.
