Re:re:re:re: Never Say Never

Central banks will get rates back to pre pandemic levels or slightly higher. Or rates go a lot higher. Remember what are there choices really? Print more Monopoly money or kill the market with supply chain disruptions, negative oil hence bankrupt oil companies, commodities, labour shortages etc etc etc. don't tell me the last decade has been anything normal. Now let's talk about housing in Kanada. Bc and Ontario most likely see largest decline as they experienced greatest climb ( prairies only catching up ) govt budget banning foreign ownership for 2 yrs. Headline news said 1/3 of all ownership in major housing markets in Kanada are via investors. Another statistic is in last 10 yrs housing has gone up 180 % yet wages 38% on avg. But when people say rude awakening it's IN everything! When supply destruction and the music stops that's when everything implodes. So at the end of the day tangible assets are worth far greater than fiat currencies that have devalued significantly especially vs gold and real assets. Nothing is worth what we are seeing today it's the fact your dollar buys you nothing lol. Deflation is the fight ! Try convincing people to buy steaks at 100.00 ea at Costco. Point being people won't buy and that can be said about anything and everything.

That's good we need higher interest rates. During the Harper years we had 5 percent rates 140 oil! It was all good....rocket puke
