There has to be a reason for CPG to this quite on the news box with everyone else out performing them. Aside from his appearance on BNN 2 weeks ago where I felt he did little to get anyone excited , in fact I felt as if he was trying to keep things somewhat muzzled .
They are making a tonne of money , there debt is being paid off rapidly , they have the best oil net backs , on the best type of oil.
I am in th end here just repeating what everyone else is saying. There dividend in this market is brutal , and I have to say they actually are punishing the faithful shareholders here , by keeping the dividend where it is.
That being said , we will catch up with everyone else , eventually we will be the only one left that hasn't gone up , and we become somewhat a value trade of last chance to get in on this next leval of stock evaluations.
We don't have earnings for almost a month. Maybe they mention the dividend increase in the next week or so.
However just feel like it's going to be at earnings.
Imagine if they don't move on the dividend ? Are we for sale right now. This is and has crossed my mind. Whitecap , Arc , and Cresentpoint , maybe a big player.
This is where we are heading eventually. Anyone else out there see consolidation.
Well I think , we will end up doing very well , I don't think it means the management did anything very well , it just means the market conditions are such that everyone will do well .
Whitecap , Arc , and some others they are being managed well , and it shows.
