VRX attacks actually targeting Ackman? or not?

Ackman does not seem to be liked by many powerful US investors ---Buffet and Icahn to name a few.... anyways it was well known about Ackmans extra concentrated position in VRX so was wondering if this was fueling the attacks behind the scenes ---- of course also adding to the shorting/profiting motives.... 
Some thoughts on the Citrion attack: IMO Citrion does not have near enough power to cause the selling damage that came with their report,  I think the report was just the "start" signal, of a well coordinated , multi-angled, attack (that included social media,  naked shorting and HF trading)  that Citrion was part of, but deffinitely a smaller player amongst much larger players... So in this way while the public focused their attention and anger at Citrion (since on the surface it looks like they caused it) , they were really a two bit player in what was really a huge coordinated  "short and distort" scam....IMO

I think that is true to certain degree. If you looked at what happened with Ackman's portfolio yesterday, almost all of his holdings dropped significantly together. Either others are afraid of redemptions at Pershing Square or they hate Ackman. As for Valeant in particular, I think another big reason for the drop is due to herd mentality.
