How much longer must we suffer under this disastrous federal government?
CANADA doesn't hire nurses - that's generally a provincial effort - one that your provincial governments have utterly failed with - take a look at Ont and Ford's bill enforcing 1% increases max upon them while he gives his cabinet 6-14%.
A look through the numbers for Ont says the $$$ are there, he just doesn't want to spend them on what they are supposed to be spent on.
While I am in agreement that Canada could benefit from fuel exports supported by pipelines, the real question is, how long do those take to build?
LNG is about 3X more expensive now than it was in 2020, 2.5X more than it was in 2019, and 3X what it was in Feb 2016. Sure - at today's price, we would make a killing - IF we had built the pipelines required to make that over the last couple of decades!
Given historical prices, the RIGHT time for a federal government to have pipelines up and runnign would have been 2005/6 under Martin and Harper.
